The Delhi Skirt Game will be Friday, August 1st, 2014
At the Delhi Township Park --- Mark Your Calendars NOW!
It is hard to believe that the 2013 Delhi Skirt Game is OVER! What a year and it is not over yet. If you missed the Skirt Game review our site and you will see what you missed and you won't miss it next year.
The 3rd Annual Tailgate Party was nothing but a huge success. Bob Herzog was the MC, The Rodney Alan Combs Band performed and the Delhi Rising Star Contest finals were held. What a great night. Here is a picture of the event from the Delhi Township Quint Fire Truck. Thanks Delhi for making this event such a success in only its third year. I am sure it will be part of the Skirt Game activities again next year. And thanks to the Delhi Township Police and Fire Departments for their participation in the first Delhi Night Out which was part of the Tailgate Party. We would like to thank The Rodney Alan Combs Band for entertaining us and Evans Landscaping for providing the truck for our stage. And of course, we cannot say enough about Bob Herzog and what he means to Delhi and the Skirt Game. Thanks Bob for all you do for the West Side of Cincinnati.
Delhi Rising Star Contest
The Skirt Game Committee and The Delhi Civic Association sponsored the second Delhi Rising Star Contest. We would like to thank our three finalists for participating along with the other contestants who took time to help with this fundraising effort.
First Place Mikayla Hinton
Second Place Greg Moore
Third Place Angela Williams Woodard
We would also like to thank Evans Landscaping for providing the stage and to the Rodney Alan Combs Band for providing their talent and the sound system for the evening.
The Delhi Skirt Game
The 36th Annual Delhi Skirt Game was held on August 2, 2013 at the Delhi Township Park on and around Field 1. The weather was great and the crowd was huge. As MCs, we had Judge Dinkelacker and helping him out this year was Bob Herzog (morning traffic reporter for Local12) and Tiffany Wilson (star of Local12's morning news). They came dressed as The Captain and Tennille. At the end of the evening were fireworks provided by David Klawitter's Queen City Pyro Production. The fireworks display this year was nothing short of stupendous. You have to go to Riverfest to see fireworks like this.
The Kenny Lipps Memorial Golf Outing
This event was held on Saturday, May 4th at Hillview Golf Course. We had 34 foursomes, our biggest turnout ever. The money raised from this goes to support our shop with a cop program called "Kid, Cops 'n Firefighters. The golf outing next year will be held on the first Saturday in May. Stay tuned for more details.
We want to put out a special thanks to Bob Herzog for being the master of ceremonies for the Tailgate Party and the Skirt Game and to Tiffany Wilson who helped MC the Skirt Game. I think this is the first time we had a female dress up as a male character to participate in the event. Tiffany was a great addition to our MC team, which also includes Judge Pat Dinkelacker.
We also want to say a BIGG thanks to Remke Biggs for allowing us to use their parking lot, for cooking the great food that was provided at the tailgate party and for just being a great sponsor of the Skirt Game. Without sponsors like Remke Biggs, North Side Bank, Walt Sweeney Ford, Duebber Automotive and Carry out and so many others, the Delhi Skirt Game would not enjoy the success that it has.
I need to thank some sponsors here also. Besides Remke Biggs, North Side Bank, Duebber's Automotive and Carry-out, and Walt Sweeney Ford, we need to thank Delhi LaRosa's who is also a huge sponsor and supporter of this event. Please support these sponsors and let them know that you know they are a supporter of the Skirt Game.
There are many more sponsors of the Delhi Skirt Game. You can see the entire list of Major Sponsors, Field Sponsors and Inning and Half Inning sponsors on our Sponsor Page. Just click the sponsor page tab above and you can go there and link to their businesses. We hope you will support all of our sponsors.

We want to continue to thank Local 12 for their support of the Delhi Skirt Game.
